December Updates (Same as November)
Comments(15) Starting this month, Poker Underworld will no longer seed the jackpots in the SnG tournaments by an extra 80%. This is the same as the change I made at the beginning of November, and then rolled back. Unfortunately, rolling back on the change was a mistake as November was a bad month for fighting and complaints.
I’ve just upgraded security on the tables which should help with players playing multiple accounts at once.
I’ve been clear in the past – I’m not getting involved in sorting out disputes. Everyone has a right to play here. In a real game, if the people you were playing with were annoying or rude, you’d leave and go to another table – so I’d rather work on giving you that ability. No matter what changes I make, somebody will find a way to annoy you.
Most complaints of “cheating” are because of the “no fold” tables. I cannot technically force people not to fold when they time out. That means forcing a true game of “no fold” is not possible, so let’s stop playing it. If, in the future, I can force calls on timeouts, then we can try this type of game again. In normal Poker, the best players win.
I have to apologize about the Champion of Poker Underworld tournaments. I’ve had a few problems getting the interface to work properly and getting the tables to merge properly on multi-table tournaments. That, combined with a busy November means I’m a month late now on delivering. I had planned not to make any further changes to Poker Underworld until the tournaments were ready, but I can’t wait any longer.
UPDATE: I just found a way to force players to call instead of folding when they time out. This means it probably would be possible to force a true “no fold, all in” table. I’m not sure if I want to bring it back, so please put your comments on this below.

I wish there was a way to separate the chips. I ennoy playing all in dont care about whr i rank. just think its fun.I have gamble all my life and just because y can play poker on here doesnt make y a great poker player, when someone says all in with real big money and y have to deside to call or not that is a poker player the one who can read that person.The skill involved is great and i have seen many guys on here go in with 2-3 and win would they do it for real money? I like all in and so do a lot of other player, it not fun to play with a brooky who will just keep folding until there is only him and another nomatter what he has, i just played it took 117 minutes to play, y want real poker then do no limit.See if guys will risk all there chips on a hand.it would be a better version then your 100000 tour table.

ryan use a table where we can use all of bank roll on table. if we win we can stay on if we lose we can leave table when we like, the chips will then flow around the site and every one will get a chance at player the top tables, just some crazy idea i have.. and ild like to say sorry to you as well ryan because now you have done a good job getting rid of the all in tables, and there will be less fighting and more play..well good job.. .H.

ryan, why is it that the brookys get away with blue murder and were the ones who have to pay for it all becauce you got rid of all in tables because brooky started folding and brooklynn was banning the chat all the time, what gives, what do we get out of this apart from a shitty table we get and takes even longer to play a game now, also we still have to listen to the brookys crap, i wish not to play on that table no more im even thinking of leaveing this site and dropping all of my points to elvin, you made it worst instead of better, man what are you doing i dont wish to litsen to there crap more all i wanted to do is get out of that table, its not nice and i dont like the way the site is now. ryan please bring back an all in table, one where if a player folds he dont win and takes him out the table, i hope your working on somthing great, even if the timer runs out in all in table it will take you off table, well i hope your working on somthing good, and looking forword to the site being great once again, i still say table 103 was a good idea but it takes hours just to get even 1 game, i will not be playing on that table till that is also sorted out.. but if not then i will leave the site and go back to the facebook poker or pkr, and will give elvin my chips,, thats all i have to say i will no longer be sending blogs..

Thanks for the changes and you are right, you wasted time changing back in Nov. it just caused too many problems just as going back to any type of allin table would now.
Last night was the first time in months that there was no fighting and arguing on the tables, just good solid poker. I’m sure it’s what you had in mind from the beginning. At one point there were 6 people playing on the new table and 14 people watching. I think that as players get used to the new buyin more players will try it.
As for raising the blinds it really doesn’t matter because the game is about betting post flop
at ANY time not just when the blinds are bigger.
To the players that complain the games on that table are too long, play faster. Don’t play multiple tables. Don’t take all of your allotted time to decide whether or not to fold that 7-9 offsuit. Use the pre-sets at the bottom to just fold those hands.
Again, thanks for a big step in the right direction, maybe now we can build into the site it should have and could have been all along.

As a final note(I hope), on the whole Brooky/Brooklyn saga, I wonder if anyone else realizes that they were the primary catalyst for
the demise of the allin tables and the fact that they took with them Brooky’s only realistic shot at being ranked #1. Brooky’s folding on allin to gain a favorble spot in the payouts and Brooklyn’s petty harrassment and defense of it
brought it to and end finally. Irony, poetic justice, just deserts, lots of ways to describe it. To me however the best way is just to say that it’s funny as hell. The timing was absolutly perfect. Brooky within closing distance of being #1 and yet now so far away. Cheaters will always try to figure out a way to beat the system and
sometimes they actually succeed. Usually it’s short term. The shame of it is if they spent that same time and energy doing the right thing they’d be a lot more successful in the end.

Bad taxi if y really want real poker then its should be no limit,to have to play 2 hours while brooky still folds unless, he has aces or kings is crazy.All in tables are fun for a lot of us.I understand y get the ark who go all in on regular tables with nothing and others.
